Summiting Mera Peak, the highest Himayalan peak in Nepal we can trek, is a tough challenge, at altitude, but one that is achievable with the correct training. It requires a good level of strength, stamina and determination. Although the trek does not require you to have any winter mountaineering experience (as you will be given training on the mountain), be prepared for some long trekking days, especially on summit night. Your training should incorporate aerobic (endurance building), anaerobic (strength building) exercises and some good long walks!
