Trekking in the Canadian Rockies is a moderate challenge, but its difficulty is heightened by the altitude. Nevertheless, it is very achievable with the correct training, and the slow pace set along the trail. The terrain is undulating and there will be some long up and down hill stretches. We will trek in and out of gorges and at times some scrambling will be involved. It requires a reasonable level of strength, stamina and determination. Your training should incorporate aerobic (endurance building), anaerobic (strength building) exercises and some good long walks!
