This seven day group challenge to the summit of Africa’s highest mountain, Mount Toubkal, leads us through tantalizing cherry orchards and Berber villages famous for their hospitality. We start our four days of trekking in the foothills of the High Atlas, where picturesque valleys lined with juniper trees offer us shade on our descend into the Mizane Valley. Hiking across deep gorges and mountain passes we make our way to the Berber villages perched quaintly in the mountains where we will rest for the night. After making the final climb to the summit at 4,167 m, we are rewarded with unrivaled views from the magnificent Mount Toubkal. Our final day will be spent exploring Marrakech’s souks and sites before coming together for a celebratory dinner.
The adventure begins as soon as you sign up; you will receive a challenge pack in the post, as well as information about our pre-challenge briefings and training weekends in the UK. Here you can meet our trek leaders, members of your group and other like-minded people taking part in one of our challenges around the world! If you are raising money for a charity we will take care of all the formalities for you as you prepare for your trekking challenge to Mount Toubkal.
